research of agitation system with the combination of axial-radial
flow was carried out. It was proposed in this article that
in the design of large fermentation vessel, with the same
power and compared with the traditional radial flow agitation
system, the agitation system with the combination of axial-radial
flow can increase the macro flow and improve the micro flow
in the vessel, so that the gas- liquid dispersion, mass
transfer, mixing and heat transfer will have better effects,
and the fermentation and metabolism processes will be improved.[著者文摘]
